He Sang His First Solo At The Age Of 9 & Started Writing Songs At The Age Of 13. He Honed His Skills By Traveling & Singing With A Local R&B Group Named Versez Until The Age Of 16 & With His Grandmother, Mom & Aunt’s Gospel Group Named The G.C Specials Until He Became An Adult, After Which He Went On To Pursue A Career In Secular Music.

He Appeared On Show Time At The Apollo Where He Was A 7x Winner & He Also Appeared On BET’s 106 & Park As A Featured Up & Coming Artist During Their “Talented Wednesdays” Showcase. Monté Was Later Discovered By Jeff Robinson & MBK Who Managed Alicia Keys. He Became A Supporting Vocalist For Alicia Keys For Several Years & He’s Provided Supporting Vocals For Many Other Artists Such As…. Prince, Stevie Wonder, Usher, Beyoncé, JAY-Z, Patti Labelle, John Legend, Will-I-Am, Sade & Jill Scott. He Has Two Albums In Circulation On All Digital Outlets & He’s Currently Finishing Up His 3rd Album Titled “Energy”.

Monté Is Active In His Community & He Remains Dedicated To Perfecting His Craft Daily.
